Sony has been catching heat over remarks by PlayStation boss Jim Ryan who reportedly sent an email to staff telling them to “respect differences of opinion” on abortion rights soon after plans to overturn Roe v. Wade were made public. It only got worse for PlayStation after Insomniac president Ted Price revealed that Sony won’t “approve any statements” on reproductive rights after the studio pushed to make its own statement. Price claimed that Insomniac “fought hard for this and we did not win.”
