Deep in the future where humans live alongside robots called Reploids, there is an uneasy peace. Some Reploids go 'maverick' and destroy rebel while other fall in place well. In the brilliant Mega Man Xtreme 2 a cool doctor named Dr. Cain develops a team of "Maverick Hunters" that are sent out to hunt down and destroy the rogue Reploid and you must assume control of one of these hunters and complete the increasingly tricky missions to save the world!
